Who we are
Mister Constructor Ltd is a building company registered in England (company no. 07475887), based at 87 Grantham Green, Borehamwood, WD6 2JQ. We are responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us about it on 020 8129 1757.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through this website, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, the postcode of the property, and what you tell us about the project, including the type of work, budget range, stage and timing. If you call, email or message us on WhatsApp, we keep the details you give us in the same way.
How we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a site visit, prepare an estimate and, if we work together, run your project and keep the records we need for it. We do not sell your details or pass them to anyone for marketing, and we will not add you to a mailing list.
The legal basis is either taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, the contract itself once we work together, our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries, or our legal obligations, for example keeping financial records.
Who else handles it
A small number of service providers handle data on our behalf so the website and enquiries work:
- Web3Forms, which delivers the enquiry form to our email inbox
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and keeps short-term technical logs for security
- Our email and phone providers
If we work together, we may share project details with the people involved in your build, such as your architect, structural engineer, party wall surveyor or building control, where that is needed for the work.
How long we keep it
If an enquiry does not lead to a project, we delete the details within two years. If we carry out work for you, we keep project and financial records for six years after the project ends, as the law requires for accounting records.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Call us on 020 8129 1757 or use the contact form. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. Our fonts and images are served from this website, so loading a page does not send your details to other companies. Links to Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp and Google take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
If we add website analytics in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
